In February, we’ll be celebrating Frugal February. I’ll talk about budgeting, different savings methods, and getting a handle on frivolous spending.
After cleansing, you need a healthy diet. Part of a balanced financial diet is exercising savings. Much like a beginner runner, you wouldn’t start with a marathon, you’d have to build up to it by running shorter distances. For my friends with limited funds and/or my novice savers, you have to see small successes. So let’s start with a little savings!
Who’s with me?!
There are always hold-outs and nay-sayers so here’s a little more information to ease your skepticism…
The savings tracker I’ve created has 49 spaces. There are 52 weeks in a year so that allows for 3 skip weeks. There are ample $5 spaces; meaning for 14 of the 49 weeks all you have to do is find $5 per week to set aside. The largest dollar amount is $30 and there are only seven $30 spaces on the tracker!!!
Also, remember this tacker is just a guide. With my own trackers, some weeks I mark off 2 spots if I can save more. And if you run out of spaces before the end of the year, you can keep saving!
Now who’s in?!
I know some of you need more guidance on saving and budgeting so guess what?! I’m hosting a Zoom session to talk about saving and budgeting where you’ll be able to ask questions!
In the meantime, grab your Savings Tracker. Who likes free stuff?!
Great! Download this and I’ll see you Monday!
